Sun-kissed

The children of the sun must’ve been mischievous again, stealing the lilac velour sack from their parent’s working desk and accidentally ripping it open at the seams. A shower of golden marbles rained down, weighty and burning, diving into the dark, cold, and endless blueness covering the massive playground. The violent drops sent waves of amber-colored splashes flying, breaking at the rails on the docks and dampening the feet of the unfortunate passersby. By chance, a few marbles didn’t fall right into the vast ocean but instead on a fortunate onlooker, who was first leaning against the rails and then unbalanced by the strikes. The crystallized beads cracked open at the sheer force of impact and flowed from within warm streams of glamor that lathered the onlooker’s skin with sheen. Stunned, the onlooker regained his footing. All of a sudden, a perfect tableau was formed, with a backdrop, a main character, an action, and a sentiment. The only missing component is a title.
